Bishop Philip M. Bonaparte, M.D. is a charismatic preacher, multidisciplinary leader, and medical doctor, whose mission is to deliver a message of hope and healing that will usher transformation into the lives of people all across the globe. Central to his calling is his role as the senior pastor of New Hope Church of God, one church in three locations serving the Greater Trenton Area, East Windsor/Hightstown, and Long Branch, in New Jersey. The Dual Calling
At the age of 15, Bonaparte gave his heart to the Lord and began preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ. At the age of 19, he felt the call of God to enter the pastorate and so founded the Woodlands New Testament Church of God on the Caribbean island of Grenada. Synchronously, he was accepted into St. George’s University where he began his medical training. The article “Saving Lives and Souls through Both Medicine and Ministry,” published in the May 2013 issue of the Positive Community Magazine, describes Dr. Bonaparte’s acuity of spirit in answering the dual call to both medicine and ministry that was on his life.
His unique twofold ministry has afforded him the opportunity to grace many great platforms and address a wide variety of audiences. He is an author of his first book, “Forgiveness From The Heart”, the host of two nationally acclaimed radio broadcasts, which he uses to teach and preach the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Dr. Bonaparte also leads a daily Prayer Line, “Early Morning Prayer- Your Spiritual Workout” that is interactive with over 500 callers across the US. He has worked in India, Haiti, West Africa and throughout the Caribbean, providing direct medical care and medical supplies to the less fortunate population. Having made its stamp on the state of New Jersey, his binate ministry is predicted to become a household name across the nation over the course of the next decade.
